The 4G network is the most widely used network for several years to connect to the Internet via mobile phone.

4G LTE Historical:

The  4G LTE  was firs introduced by  NTT Docomo of Japan under the name of LTE (Long Term Evolution) in 2004 

Studies of the LTE standard were finalized at the end of 2008, and the first LTE service was officially launched on December 14, 2009 by TeliaSonera in Oslo (Norway) and Stockholm (Sweden) , as a data connection with a USB modem.

-4G is the fourth generation of mobile phone mobile communications standards. It is a successor of  3G.

-High Capacity up to 100 Mbit/s in the downlink and 50 Mbit/s in the uplink ,theoretical.

-High speed 10 times faster than 3G.

-The VoLTE Voice over LTE  Long Term Evolution it's the new technology that really destroys the 2G and 3G Network, This caused many countries to abandon them ! .

What is VoLTE?

The VoLTE or Voice over LTE is a recent standard for wireless, high-speed communication where is looking similar to VoIP Voice Over Internet Protocol  that used  in ( Skype,WhatsApp,Google Hangouts, Viber, Facebook Messenger ..etc) but With multiple features.

VoLTE Features :

The first feature of VolTE is: allows data usage and voice/SMS calls at the same time, now you can watch Youtube video in 4K quality and make a phone call at the same time without the video being lost. 'stopped !, (without VolTE, the phone must switch from 4G to 2G or 3G to make or answer a call).

Better quality of voice calls,That's because of better noise reducing and Improved voice quality with new codec for HD voice (AMR-WB).

Low Battery Consuption, VoLTE enables longer Battery life,  phones do not need to switch between 2G, 3G and 4G networks during calls.

Faster call set-up times than in 2G/3G networks around 1.5 sec (very important especially in an emergency).

the VoLTE service is only available with Mobile Phone  operators who support this technology, it is linked to your sim card, so it will not appear in the settings if your operator does not allow it.

The 4G  brought many improvements, especially since it solved the communication and call problems via VoLTE technology, which was one of the most important negative points of the 2G and 3G, which  prompted many countries to dispense with the second and third generation and replace it with 4G and 5G.
