Bluetooth :

Bluetooth was created in 1994 by Ericsson (by its engineer Jaap Hartzen) and until now all telephones equipped with this technology.

The first Bluetooth mobile phone is Ericsson T36 out in public in 2001.

Bluetooth Characteristics:

The Bluetooth works in the 2.4 GHz Frequency Band and  Characterized by Two parameters (class and profile): 

• Profile : The most common are two A2DP : Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and  LE: Low Energy.
• Class: there are two class 1,2 (Class 2: carried between 10m and 20m) (Class 1: carried 100m and 200m).

In the field of Smartphones Generally talks about the Standard used , Bluetooth 1.0 was the first Bluetooth standard created in May 1999.

After that, there are several versions (1.1 ... 4.2, 5, 5.2,5.3) which came to improve the flaws of the previous versions.

Most phones on the market have Bluetooth 5.0 or 5.2.

The new version, Bluetooth 5.3 has been announced in the new phone for Xiaomi , Redmi K50 and all phones with  Dimensity 9000 Processor ,  It has lower response, better assists in mobile gaming, and will have lower power requirements.

You can see that Apple still has the old bluetooth 5.0 standard in their mobile phones since the iphone 8 (2017) and even with the new iphone 13 (2021).
