Battery label (Sticker) information, what does it Mean -MyPhonTech

Smartphone batteries come with labels (Stickers) on the battery to give the user the necessary informations about this battery.

Important Phone Battery Label information :

If you notice that the battery label contains full information such as battery certification, battery manufacturer, safety information, charging voltage, etc., because the battery is not only the icon that appears on your screen, it's a chemical technology that can destroy your phone and endanger your health due to improper handling that can cause an explosion in some cases, that's why the manufacturers of the Lithium Battery stick all the information on the batteries so that the user is careful and respects the standards indicated.
In this article we focus on the technical information of the battery label, if you are interested more to know all the battery information of the phone click on this link 'Mobile Battery'.

The Technical information of the Label Battery:

The Technical information indicated in the label is important to the user because it contains more information about the Capacity of the battery and the charger compatible with this battery for the prevention against mishandling.
Here are the 4 important Technical Information of the battery :

1. Nominal Voltage:

Nominal Battery Voltage This is the Voltage resulting from the combination of several Lithium Base Cells depends on the chemical reaction behind it. , it's usually just over 3V. For the battery in the figure above, it is the battery used in the Samsung Flagship phone the Galaxy S22 Ultra, its Nominal Voltage  is 3.88V.

2.Nominal Capacity :

One of the most popular specifications with mobile phone users is the nominal battery capacity, as it determines how much charge to hold. It is specified in ampere-hours (Ah) or milli-ampere-hours (mA) Because current is the rate at which charge flows and multiplies with time to basically give us the amount of charge.
For the battery shown in the figure (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra), the nominal capacity is 5000 mAh or 5 Ah.

3. Energy (Capacity) :

Lithium batteries used in smartphones storing energy in electrochemical form.
This energy is then used to do work,
The energy capacity of the battery is approximately the nominal voltage (V) multiplied by its nominal capacity (Ah) and It's expressed in Watt hours (Wh).
Energy (Wh) = Nominal Voltage (V)  x Nominal Capacity (Ah).
for Galaxy S22 Ultra battery,  Energy = 3.88v x 5000mAh = 19.4 Wh

4.Charging Limit Voltage :

This is the maximum voltage to charge this battery without damaging it, this voltage is actually regulated by a charging circuit integrated into the motherboard of the smartphone.

Can check whether the battery is original or not from the info label?

Fake products are widespread in the market, including the phone battery. Therefore, manufacturers have worked to develop features specific to their products in order to differentiate between them and Fake ones.
But sometimes it is difficult to differentiate between them, so it is advised to buy your phone battery from an authorized agent.
Apple has put an important feature in iPhone phones that enables you to know if the battery is original or not , see Apple official website link.
